The one-man-band has built a career on his uncanny
ability to captivate
a packed house-all by himself. For over 100 shows a year, "music's
mad-scientist" has
proven himself to be a master of improvisational performance art. In his one-man show, he pads barefoot
from guitar to
bass to percussion stations, using looping
effects-and enough
instruments to stock a strip-mall music
store-to layer sound atop sound
until the stage swirls with
a full-blown composition.http://www.kellerwilliams.net

On September 16, 2007, Juggling Suns finally got their chance to jam with Keller Williams. What a night it was – first a really fun Keller set outside at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ, and then a short set by the Suns. Keller then joined the Suns, with Jen Augustine, for three rockin’ songs to start the second set.

In August 2006, Juggling Suns shared the bill with Jimmy Herring, Blues Traveler and Keller Williams at the Jerry Garcia Birthday Bash in Terra Alta, WV. We had just played with Keller the previous week in Atlantic City, NJ, and it was beautiful weather for some backstage fun. During Keller’s set, the stage caught on fire – Keller just kept on playing! |
